BARTLOMIEJ RUBIK

Polish documentary photographer exploring how faith is expressed through beliefs, ceremonies, rituals, and religious festivals across cultures. He develops the long-term project Stories of the Sacred, documenting humanity’s relationship with spirituality and transcendence. His work also examines broader social issues, focusing on how communities navigate tradition, identity, labor, and change, often in challenging environments.

Awarded first prize in a photography competition organized by National Geographic and the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, focused on Polish development aid, for work created in Ethiopia (2019).

He worked on assignments for the Aga Khan Foundation in India, documenting projects related to WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene) and community development in rural Uttar Pradesh (2019).

His photographs have been exhibited in museums and galleries, including the Museum of Asia and Pacific in Warsaw (2019) and National Gallery of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Sarajevo (2026).
His work has also been published in several Polish media outlets, including Podróże and Poznaj Świat. 

Based in Warsaw, available for assignments worldwide. Fluent in English, Polish, Spanish and German.
